Serving the New York Community for more than 30 years, we have five professional practitioners and a dedicated long-term staff of very experienced clinical and administrative personnel to serve you who are fluent in Spanish, Greek, German, Yiddish, Polish and English.

Jo Anne graduated NYU Dental School in 1991, had a residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1992 and graduated from Columbia University Dental School in 1994 with a periodontal specialty certificate.  Since joining our staff in 1992, she is well known for her gentle touch and accepts many insurance plans.  As a board eligible member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Jo Anne updates her technological skills frequently with many hours of continued education.

Ana graduated NYU Dental School in 1991.  She proficiently performs initial periodontal therapy consisting of root planing, periodontal prophylaxis and administration of anti-microbials.  When needed, she will use nitrous analgesia during these procedures.  Ana has been a loyal member of the staff since 1993 whose skills are constantly refined through her participation in many hours of post-graduate courses.

Nancy graduated NYU Dental School in 1995.  She joined our staff in 1997.  Initial periodontal therapy is gently performed and consists of root planing using local anesthesia (occasionally aided by the administration of nitrous analgesia), periodontal prophylaxis and the placement of anti-microbials.  As a current member of the American Dental Association, she continuously attends lectures on all aspects of dentistry.

Stacy graduated from Farmingdale University for dental hygiene in 1989 and has been employed here since 1981 when she was first hired as a dental assistant.  She enthusiastically reviews homecare instructions by individualizing each patient’s special needs.  Patients look forward to her reassuring approach and soft dental touch when having their periodontal maintenance visits.

Ray accommodates office emergencies, finds appointments convenient for patients and deals with insurance companies.  Ray’s efficiency allows Dr. Kaner to devote his whole attention to treating patients.
